Use Settings → Print and the Template Editor to configure output format, print mode, photo slots, overlays, and page layout.

Template Editor sections

  • Layout: choose the photo/page layout — number of photos, strip or grid arrangement.
  • Page: configure the printable document size and margins.
  • Photo Style: configure individual photo slots — borders, rounded corners, filters.
  • Overlays: add decorative assets, branding, or event-specific frames on top of photos.
  • Layer Order: control which visual elements appear above or below others.

Supported printers

OSPHERIX Photobooth works with any Windows-compatible printer. Dye-sublimation printers for photo booth use (DNP DS-series, Mitsubishi CP-series, HiTi) are particularly well-supported for consistent quality.

Print settings

  1. Open Settings → Print.
  2. Select the printer from the dropdown.
  3. Set the number of copies per session (1–4).
  4. Enable Auto Print if you want the print to trigger automatically after each capture without operator confirmation.
Run a test print before guests arrive — print quality issues (incorrect scaling, margins, colour profile) are much easier to fix before the event starts than during it.

Exporting photos

If you do not have a printer, set the export path in Settings → Print → Export Folder. Captured photos will be saved to that folder automatically. Guests can access their photos via QR code through the local gallery server.

Overlay assets

Overlay images should be PNG files with a transparent background. Place them in the overlays folder and they will appear in the Template Editor asset library. Overlays scale to fit the page layout defined in the editor.
