OSPHERIX 360 records from the GoPro, automatically processes the clip with effects, and publishes it to the local gallery for guests to access via QR code.

General event flow

  1. Start the gallery server from the main control screen.
  2. Confirm the Gallery/LAN IP is the guest router IP (not the GoPro network).
  3. Connect to the GoPro.
  4. Record a test clip to verify the full pipeline: record → download → process → gallery.
  5. Confirm the processed clip appears on the display and in the gallery.
  6. Start guest recording sessions.

Output settings

Before the event, configure in Settings → Output:

  • Output folder: use a fast local SSD — processing is I/O intensive.
  • Filename prefix: a recognizable event name makes reviewing clips easier.
  • Format and resolution: match your display setup and guest expectations.
  • Audio: enable or disable audio track in the rendered output.
Run a test render before guests arrive. Processing time depends on clip length and PC performance. For busy events with short turnaround between guests, verify the render finishes within your turnaround window.

Effects

OSPHERIX 360 supports speed adjustments, boomerang effect, flash bursts, audio overlay, frame overlays, and snapshot endings. Configure effects in Settings → Effects before the event. Avoid changing effect settings mid-event as they apply to the next render.

Storage management

Source clips (raw from GoPro) and rendered clips accumulate quickly. Use a fast drive with enough free space — budget at least 2 GB per rendered clip as a conservative estimate depending on resolution and duration.
