GoPro connects via Bluetooth but Wi-Fi fails

  • Wait a few seconds after the Bluetooth step, then click Connect again — the second attempt after Bluetooth is established usually succeeds.
  • Confirm the GoPro Wi-Fi SSID and password in Settings → GoPro are correct.
  • Check that Windows can reach the GoPro AP: open a browser and navigate to http://10.5.5.9:8080 — if you see a GoPro response, the Wi-Fi is working.
  • Restart the GoPro and try again. Occasionally the GoPro AP takes longer to initialise after Bluetooth wake.

Gallery QR code opens the wrong network

  • Open Settings → Network → Gallery/LAN Adapter and select the guest router adapter.
  • The gallery IP should be in the 192.168.x.x range (your guest router network), not 10.5.5.x (the GoPro network).
  • Restart the gallery server after changing the adapter, then refresh the display page.

Live view times out or freezes

  • Allow Windows Firewall access for OSPHERIX 360 on private networks if prompted.
  • Confirm the GoPro is connected and streaming (check the app status indicator).
  • Stop and restart live view from the control screen.
  • Avoid running another app (GoPro Quik, GoPro Player) that reads the GoPro stream simultaneously.

Clip does not appear in gallery after recording

  • Check that the output folder exists and the PC has write permission to it.
  • Verify there is sufficient disk space — clips fail silently if the drive is full.
  • Check the app log panel for render errors.
  • Ensure the gallery server is running (green status indicator on the control screen).
If you encounter repeated connection failures at an event, ensure the GoPro firmware is up to date. Some early firmware versions have Wi-Fi reliability issues that were fixed in later releases.
