Software License Agreement
Last updated: April 27, 2026. This agreement governs your use of OSPHERIX software applications installed on your device.
1. License Grant
OSPHERIX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on the number of devices covered by your purchased license, solely for your own internal professional or business purposes.
2. Restrictions
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software or any component thereof.
- You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the software.
- You may not rent, lease, sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, or assign the software or your license rights to any third party.
- You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices contained in the software.
3. Third-Party SDK Components — Nikon
This software incorporates the Nikon Camera Control SDK and the Nikon Image SDK, licensed from Nikon Corporation. Nikon Corporation is an intended third-party beneficiary of this agreement and has the right to enforce the restrictions on use, limitations of liability, and disclaimers of warranties set out herein with respect to Nikon SDK components. You may not reverse engineer, modify, disassemble, or distribute any Nikon SDK components independently of this software.
4. Third-Party SDK Components — Sony
This software may be used to remotely control Sony camera devices via the Sony Camera Remote SDK. Once a Sony camera device is used or controlled through this software, the device may be outside the manufacturer warranty as separately specified by Sony Corporation with respect to that device. OSPHERIX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or developed by Sony Corporation.
5. Third-Party SDK Components — Canon
This software incorporates technology based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG Group, included as part of the Canon EOS Digital SDK (EDSDK). This software also supports Canon cameras via the Canon Camera Control API (CCAPI). OSPHERIX is not affiliated with or endorsed by Canon Inc.
6. Third-Party SDK Components — GoPro
The OSPHERIX 360 Platform application uses the Open GoPro protocol, which is made available by GoPro, Inc. under the Apache License 2.0. OSPHERIX is not affiliated with or endorsed by GoPro, Inc.
7. Open Source Notices
Certain open-source components are distributed with or embedded
in this software. A full list of open-source notices and license
texts is included in the NOTICE.txt file
distributed with the application installer.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. OSPHERIX disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OSPHERIX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Any aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the applicable license in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by Romanian law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
11. Mandatory Law
Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under mandatory applicable law. If any clause is unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply.
